Community Summit North America, held virtually October 7-9, 2020, will offer dedicated Microsoft educational tracks across multiple areas of the application.

Tracks

These tracks will focus on a core Microsoft Business Application solution, focused on individual roles, with real-world scenarios, examples, shared experiences, demos and tips and tricks. 

System Administration  

User setup, security, relationships, data management, integration, standard form and entity customization . Among other topics. It may also include more advanced or no code customization best practices.   

BI, Reporting & Analytics  

View, dissect, & explore Dynamics 365/CRM Data, including artificial intelligence. Utilizing out of the box capabilities with charts and dashboards and new integration, analytical capabilities involving Power BI, OData protocols, etc. Other legacy reporting capabilities like SSRS will also be discussed.  

D365 Integrations

Illustrate a direct data synchronization across Finance and Operations, and Customer Engagement. Explore and enable the flow of master and transactional data between D365 workloads. 

Customer, Field and Project Service

Service and customer engagement activities tied to customer service, field service, or project service. From case management to resource scheduling to omni-channel support, and will focus on everything customer care related.  

Development and Architecture

 Application design and structure across Dynamics 365/CRM and Power Platform environment including the user of the Common Data service (CDS). Additionally there will be focus on extensibility and code required modifications. In addition to Citizen Developer, Upgrade and implementing stories and best practices to enhance applications.

Leadership & Professional Development               

Sharpen your personal and professional development skills, by deepening levels of self-awareness and helping build professional competencies. Explore D365/CRM buy-in, understanding CRM for the organizational side, collaboration with other departments & teams and organizational change management will be discussed. 

User Adoption

Ensure your organization adopts and uses Dynamics 365/CRM. Concepts across adoption, gamification, & training best practices. User experience sessions will include suggestions or recommendations on the way others than training, gamification, communication, etc.

Marketing & Sales

Explore selling, sales force automation, opportunity and/or pipeline management scenarios, role of the marketing user or marketing use of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM. 

 

Power Platform and CE

This track will specifically call out key complimentary integration and automation capabilities & best practice use of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Azure. Session around PowerApps, Flow, Common Data Service, & Azure best practices as it relates to the use of data and integration with existing Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement will be prioritized.
